Amber + Arnoldo | 11.26.21

On Good Friday 2021, Amber and Arnoldo tied the knot! And it was such a sweet, fun celebration ! Both families came in from out of town, and each detail was intentional to ensure everyone felt comfortable and thought of. From the moment we started planning together, I knew Amber and I would become fast friends - and NOW she’s a new planner on our Wildwood team!

Needless to say, this one is near and dear to my heart!

Tell us your love story!

We have such a simple, sweet love towards each other. We fell in love when we were both young and are absolutely blessed that we get to spend every day with each other for the rest of our lives. We cherish the simple things in life, and will stand beside each other through life's ups and downs.

How did you meet?

Arnoldo and Amber met in college at West Virginia University over the summer in 2016. We both were at a pregame before heading down to our favorite bar in Morgantown. Arnoldo was Amber's brother's fraternity brother, however we truly never met before until that summer. That evening was filled with a variety of different drinks and mingling with close friends. The friendship continued over that season into fall when college football and the start of the school year began. I was always attracted to the way Arnoldo made me feel because he was the sweetest, most patient guy I knew. He always involved me to hang out with him and his friends, was there for me during the difficult times, was always able to finish my sentences or know what I was thinking without me even having to say a word. The weeks went on, and spring break was quickly approaching. Deciding to spend spring break together, we went to Puerto Rico for a week. Our friendship deepened into a love that we felt for each other. Flying back home after that trip together, we both knew we had found our soulmate.

What do you love about each other?

I love Arnoldo for his selflessness, sacrifice, and unconditional patient love for me. Arnoldo loves my simplicity, loving, caring character. He states I make him feel safe and always "at home".

How did you come up with your wedding theme/color scheme?

I've always loved the time centered around Thanksgiving. We got engaged the day before Thanksgiving last year and it's always held a special place in our hearts. How amazing is it that we will have all of our family and friends together in one place around that holiday. We both love neutral, moody fall tones and so that is how we came up with the color scheme of the wedding.

Any wedding planning tips for future couples?

Some wedding tips for future couples would be to try to focus on which parts of your wedding you want to prioritize your money towards. Also, we recommend having a second guest list for you to invite additional guests as people start RSVP-ing that they were unable to make the wedding. This allows for you to keep your wedding at a size that you are wanting.
